Dance For Diversity presents the 4 short dance films created by the 8 Artists from the 2023 inaugural season. The screening of these films shine an empowering light on the profound stories of the inspiring Choreographers, Cuauhtli Ramírez Castro, Yukina Sato, Mansee Singhi, and DeMar Walker brought to life through the creative style and vision of the distinguished Cinematographers, Tate Bunker, Samer Ghani, Amanda Hoover, and Rachel Malehorn. Following the screening, the DFD Creative Director, Elisabeth Roskopf, and the Artists will engage in a talkback with the audience members.

For the 2023 inaugural season, Dance For Diversity will present 4 short dance films created by the 8 Artists over the course of a two-day Film Premiere event. The screening of these films shine an empowering light on the profound stories of Cuauhtli Ramirez Castro, Yukina Sato, Mansee Singhi, and DeMar Walker brought to life through the creative style and vision of the distinguished Cinematographers, Tate Bunker, Samer Ghani, Amanda Hoover, and Rachel Malehorn. Following the Premiere screening, the DFD Creative Director, Elisabeth Roskopf, and the Artists will engage in a talkback session with the audience members.
The Dance For Diversity Film Premiere events will take place at Nō Studios (1037 W McKinley Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53205) on Friday, December 8th at 6:00-9:00pm and Saturday, December 9th at 2:00-5:00pm.

Dance For Diversity is presenting an exclusive Sneak Peek event featuring short, preview screenings of 4 Dance Artists’ solo films that embody their personal stories of identity.

The evening will also highlight the collaborative process between each of the 4 Choreographer and Cinematographer pairings with special behind-the-scenes footage and an opportunity to meet some of the Artists in-person.
